Neymar: I hate losing but I enjoyed Messi’s victory
Brazilian Neymar da Silva, star of Paris Saint-Germain, spoke about his reaction after losing the Copa America title to Argentina.
Brazil lost, at home, to rivals Argentina, with a goal unanswered, scored by Angel Di Maria.
Neymar published a video clip that he collected with Argentine captain, Lionel Messi, after the match, through his account on the Instagram network.
“Loss hurts me, it’s something I haven’t learned to live with yet,” The Brazilian wrote.
“Yesterday when I lost, I went to hug the biggest and best player I’ve ever seen playing football in history, my friend and brother Messi.”
He continued, “I was sad and said to him (you won me), I am very sad because I lost, but this man is great.”
Neymar concluded, “I have great respect for what Al-Barghouth did in football, especially for me, I hate losing, but enjoy your victory, Messi, football was waiting for that moment, congratulations to Leo.”
