Spain crushes Costa Rica with seven goals

The Spanish national team crushed its Costa Rican counterpart, 7-0, this evening, Wednesday, in the first round of the group stage of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
The goals scored in the match: Dani Olmo, Marco Asensio, Ferran Torres (two goals), Javi, Carlos Soler, and Morata in the minutes (11, 21, 31, 54, 74, 90, and 92).
With this victory, the Spanish national team is at the top of Group E with 3 points, while Costa Rica’s balance is frozen without points in last place.
The match started as expected, with intense pressure from the Spanish national team, and Dani Olmo hit a low ball that went past the left post in the 5th minute.
Marco Asensio, the El Matador striker, hit a ground ball that passed by the left post in the 8th minute.
Jaffe passed a ball inside the area, which collided with the Costa Rican defender, to reach Dani Olmo, who received and shot to the left of goalkeeper Keylor Navas, to give Spain the lead in the 11th minute.
Marco Asensio added Spain’s second goal in the 21st minute, when he received a cross from the ground by Jordi Alba, and with one touch he shot and scored to the bottom left of goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
The referee of the match decided to award a penalty kick in favor of Spain, following a violent intervention on Jordi Alba inside the penalty area, and set out to implement Ferran Torres, who scored successfully at the bottom right of the goal, in the 31st minute.
The matador continued his attempts to increase the score, but to no avail, so the first half ended with Spain advancing by three without a response.
With the start of the second half, Azpilicueta set off on the right side and passed a ball towards Asensio, who shot with excessive force, and the ball passed over Navas’ goal in the 47th minute.
And Ferran Torres succeeded in adding the fourth goal in the 54th minute, as he took advantage of a mistake from the Costa Rican defense and fired from inside the area past goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
And the Spaniards continued to control the ball without any significant reaction from Costa Rica, until Javi succeeded in scoring the fifth goal in the 74th minute, when he received a pass from Alvaro Morata inside the penalty area, and with one touch he hit a ball that hit the post before it hit the net.
Neco Williams launched on the right side and passed a cross that goalkeeper Keylor Navas tried to disperse, to reach the foot of Carlos Soler, who put the ball directly into the Costa Rican net, adding the sixth goal for Al Aroja in the 90th minute.
The festival of goals continued, with a seventh goal through Alvaro Morata, who received a through pass from Dani Olmo inside the penalty area, and hit a creeping ball below the right of goalkeeper Keylor Navas in the 92nd minute.
